| 3SAQS Monitoring Network Assessment (Oct. 2013 - Feb. 2014) |
| Goals: |
The 3SAQS cooperating agencies have identified the need to complete a Monitoring Network Assessment during Fall 2013 for their joint, multi-agency monitoring network effort across the three state region. Developed by a 3SAQS Workgroup, the product from this Assessment task will be recommendations for monitors, sites, parameters, operations, and budget for the next 3 years of monitoring, i.e., beginning in 2014 through mid-2017. The Assessment will document the objectives of the monitoring network and analyze options for the optimal network configuration. Existing monitoring data, emissions data, modeling results, and other variables such as future energy development plans, meteorology/climatology, population, and impact areas will be considered to determine the representativeness of existing and potential new monitoring sites. Work products will include intermediate technical analyses, draft and final reports, and recommendations to the Steering Committee and Leadership Team.

| Goals: | The first half of the workshop will report on the work completed to date through our Cooperative Agreements, feedback from the recent 3SAQS Leadership Team and Steering Committee meetings on the Study activities, and a briefing about NOAA observational and other air quality studies related to O&G. The second half of the workshop will focus on the reviewing the plans for Jun-Sep 2013 work. |

| First Use Case Beta Test (May 13th-17th, 2013) |
| Goals: | A beta test of a first "use case" scenario was conducted in May. Two beta testers registered with the system and then requested the WestJump Base08b modeling input dataset using the TSDW website. Then, copies of the dataset were delivered to the testers who then performed model simulations using the delivered data. This test was designed to exercise various fundamental components of the data warehouse. |
