Objectives

US EPA and regional/state/local/tribal (RSLT) air agency staff are collaborating to develop a 2022 national emissions modeling platform. The platform will be used to meet RSLT and U.S. EPA regulatory air quality modeling needs beginning in mid-2024.

This webinar will provide an overview of the National Emissions Collaborative process for developing the 2022 emissions modeling platform (EMP). Differences between the previous 2016 Emissions Collaborative and this effort will be presented along with information about the plans for developing the platform, general timelines, and a call for participation. All air quality planning stakeholders are invited to join the webinar.
