NEIC 2016 beta (2016ff) - Beta version of the National Emission Inventory Collaborative's 2016 modeling platform
Overview
A national Emissions Modeling Platform for calendar year 2016 (2016 EMP) developed by a collaboration of states, tribes, multi-jurisdictional organizations (MJOs), and the EPA, with expected projection years of 2023 and 2028. The MJOs and states asked to be actively involved in the development of the next modeling platform, and EPA has supported this effort within the constraints of available resources. The files from this platform could be used for ozone and particulate matter (PM) / regional haze modeling by states, tribes, MJOs, and EPA. The species of interest include both ozone and PM precursors.
